Tasks include (but is not limited to): Excavator Operators are responsible for opera-ng heavy machinery (including backhoes, bulldozers, rollers, and graders) to dig, transfer and load soil, rock, debris and rubble from one place to another. Maintain equipment in a condi-on that does not compromise safety. Follow all Health and Safety and compliance procedures and report accordingly. Choosing, fiXng, and removing aYachments including buckets, scoops, blades, and rock breaking hammers so as to excavate, move and load earth, rubble, dirt and other materials. Safely opera-ng machinery by adjus-ng manual and hydraulic controls to regulate force, pace, and flow. Consul-ng and working with other construc-on, building and industry professionals to successfully complete a job. Requirements About you: Must have worked in different street environments not just bulk earthworks. Must have experience of digging up footpaths avoiding cables. Overseas experience Proven experience and understanding of Health and Safety and the hazards of opera-ng on construc-on sites. A good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role Able to pass a Drug test. A solu-on-focused aXtude, with strong forward planning and adaptability. Must have a good level of spoken and wriYen English. Have good customer rela-on skills, remaining calm and controlled even when the pressure is on.
