i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant secondary academy in the Durham area who are eager to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally engaging 1:1 Autism Support Mentor to provide tailored 1:1 & small groups EHCP support to pupils with Autism across their KS3 & KS4 department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

1:1 Autism Support Mentor – Role Information:
1:1 Autism Support Mentor Located in Durham (S41) Based in one secondary academy Monday to Friday role for remainder of academic year Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm Paid £450 per week during term time before tax Providing 1:1 & small group support to KS3 & KS3 students with Autism Tailoring support sessions based around Education Health Care Plan Interviewing for role NOW – Apply ASAP!
1:1 Autism Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree Strong academic background Prior experience working with children or young people Passionate about a career in education Naturally outgoing and personable individual Good organisation and communication skills Ability to build rapport with young children *Full UK driving license mandatory*
