A current NMC registration and driving licence is essential. Must be able to travel independently to remote areas of the region that are not on public transport routes.
The post holder will be expected to deliver high quality, effective, person centred care to the house bound within the community working in partnership with service users, other core members of the Home Team and aligned services including care providers.
The caseload population is derived from all GP practices within the Stewartry.
Under Equality Legislation we can only state that a driving licence is required if a post is a 'driving job - eg Driver.

This post may involve clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas therefore a current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
Recruitment have also set up an assessment question option (wording below) which managers can request be added to the Jobtrain application form for candidates to answer when completing their application.
