This role can be based from either our Manchester or London office in line with our hybrid policy of 2-3 days in the office per week.
Functional accountability
•Champion and embed agile methodologies and culture within projects, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration.•Ensure projects and sprints are delivered on time, within scope, and budget using agile practices.•Engage and coach stakeholders on agile values and practices, facilitating effective collaboration.•Oversee project governance, incorporating industry best practices in agile project management.•Foster a team environment conducive to agile learning and growth, and report project progress adhering to agile principles to the Head of Global Project Management.
Functional/Professional Experience
•
Agile Methodology Expertise: Proficient in various agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing these in projects.•
Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.•
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at various levels within an organization.•
Communication and Team Leadership: Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams in a collaborative environment.•
Problem-Solving and Adaptability : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.•
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the specific industry in which the projects are being managed.•
Certifications and Continuous Learning: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) and a commitment to continuous learning in agile practices.
