About Them: Since 2018, our client’s London office has been dedicated to providing Silicon Valley-style business and legal advice to UK and European tech companies. They offer international expertise to support companies at every stage of growth, from launch to exit.
Role Overview: Our client is seeking a UK qualified corporate tax lawyer with a
maximum of 2 to 6 years' PQE to join their London office. In this role, you will work on M&A transactions, venture capital finance, international business structuring, and funds tax.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide tax advisory support to clients, including international tax issues and transactional support.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and build lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other teams to provide specialist tax support.
Requirements: - You MUST be UK qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate and working for a BIG law company
- No more than 2-6 years PQE with strong experience in UK corporate tax, gained in a BIG law firm (some BIG accounting firm, or blue-chip in-house experience will be considered)
- Ideally 1st-class law degree and a commitment to tax advisory work.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills: - Knowledge of tax issues relevant to growth companies is a benefit.
- Familiarity with UK/US cross-border tax issues for corporate groups is an asset.
