We are looking for..
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join our busy Review Co-ordinator team. You will be part of a small team who are responsible for chairing reviews to ensure that children’s plans are progressing, reducing risks and focused on achieving positive outcomes.
You will chair a range of meetings including reviews for looked after children, child protection planning meetings and care and risk management meetings. You will take a lead role in promoting the voice of children, young people and their families in the process of case planning and review.
In addition to the above, Review Co-ordinators work closely with colleagues across Children’s Services to undertake Quality Assurance work. You will be required to collate, analyse and report on performance in a solution focused manner to aid service improvement. You will complete Stage 1 and Stage 2 complaint responses in line with Council policy, reporting on collective themes and learning needs for Children’s Services.
You will have experience of working with children and families, managing risk and challenging situations. All applicants will require to be registered with the SSSC, have a PVG and Social Work qualification.
