*Position:* DevOps Engineer *Job Description:* The *DevOps Engineer* provides thought leadership and pre-sales technical support to the Sales & Vendor Teams around the DevOps and Cloud portfolio and to the MSP, ISV, Reseller and SI partners in both a Technical & Commercial manner. This role will focus specifically on the development of the DevOps ecosystem and surrounding vendors. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for engaging with the relevant vendor teams, owning technical enablement and building joint propositions with the BDM team. The candidate will also have extensive knowledge and experience in software development, data analysis, hyper scaler architecture and automation. *What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?* * Proactively *work with the ArrowSphere Cloud Leader & the team in Arrow to drive MSP engagement *around programmes.* Provides *pre-sales technical support to the Sales & Vendor Team *covering P*uppet, Redhat, Microsoft and AWS *products & services.* Train, educate & incentivise partners alongside the BDM team.* Work to formulate account strategies, alongside the ArrowSphere Cloud Leader & BDMS.* Make *pre-sales calls on prospective partners*, participate in *local and regional seminars*, and act as a *technical account manager* for existing customers.* Be the *technical focal point* for partner engagements around demonstrations, potential cloud solutions & programme expertise supported by the relevant vendor team for expertise.* Remain knowledgeable & fully certified with a strong understanding of current industry technology (specifically Cloud), trends, and the competition.* Spend at least *2 days each week presenting in front of partners *in small (round table) discussions as well as large (seminar) audiences.* Work in tandem with the Sales Team in* fulfilling sales goals *and responding to RFI/RFPs. *Missions* * Go-to technical specialist for sales team and downstream partners on the DevOps vendors and cloud platforms. * Work with team to develop propositions for Cloud, ISV, OT and DevOps communities* Onboarding and enablement of new vendors & downstream partners onto the ArrowSphere billing & provisioning platform. * Presenting to Arrow customers the products/services portfolio and ArrowSphere* Design, management & delivery of cloud demonstrations & labs. *Technology Stack* *AWS: *EC2, Cognito, IAM, Cloudfront, WAF, Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes, Lambda, S3, RDS, Redshift, AWS server migration service, AWS database migration*Azure:* ARM Templates, Azure Data Lake, Azure Pipelines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure AD, Azure Powershell*GCP:* GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, FireStore, Filestore, Memory Store, BigTable, Cheff, Puppet, Redhat, Atlassian experience *What Are We Looking For? * * *DevOps* experience* *Migration to the Cloud* - Project Experience* *Architecting Multi-Vendor *Offerings* Software Project Management* Containers & Microservices* Application Migration and Upgrades* Understand Sizing and Management Tools* *Software development *skills* *Scripting languages*.* Networking and Security knowledge* Problem-solving, results-oriented* Negotiating skills *What is in it For You?* * The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00 am – 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch, however, due to the nature of this role flexibility will be required in order to meet the needs of the role.
