Nursery: Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: From £24,270 - £25,200 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Kirkby Nursery.

Our nursery is situated in the David Lloyd Leisure club in Kirkby. This nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ and consists of 4 playrooms, all on one level, as well as a great outdoor area for children to explore and investigate - including not only a climbing frame, but also a wonderful wooden train! This location also offers free gym and pool memberships for any Bright Horizons staff member.

What you’ll be doing
Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we’re looking for
Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
