Main duties of the job
This is a new and exciting opportunity for an assistant psychologist with a special interest in eating disorders to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of our service. You must have completed a graduate degree in psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society with a first of 2:1 classification. If you have a passion for applied psychology, are interested in pursuing further training in a clinical/counselling/applied psychologist role, and have excellent IT and data base skills, as well as previous audit and research experience, then we would like to hear from you. You will be joining the exiting psychology team and be part of the wider MDT. Regular supervision and training opportunities will be available.

The All Age Eating Disorder Service is forward thinking in developing care across the age range using evidence based treatments and providing quality, safe and prompt interventions.
We are in the process of delivering our all age model across the whole of the Black Country and are looking for an Assistant Psychologist with a special interest in eating disorders to join our team and contribute to the delivery and development of this growing service. The service is part of the FREED network to deliver care for early intervention in the treatment of eating disorders and we are ensuring all of the service will deliver on prompt access and waiting times across the service regardless of age. The service is multidisciplinary and psychologically informed, building its existing pathways around severe enduring eating disorders, ARFID and physical health care. Our most recent CQC inspection of the service rated us Good in all areas and Outstanding in responsiveness and our vision is to work as a team to continuously improve. BSc Psychology 2:1 or above passion for eating disorders skills and experience relevant to role values in line with the trust

cpd in eating disorders experience in eating disorders
