A full list of benefits is provided belowJob Summary of Service Engineer:Reporting to the Service team you will be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites. The candidate will be working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas and electric trucks. You will be expected to manage own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately through our PDS System, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small electric pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, but mainly our VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks under our rental fleet, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.Requirements of the Service Engineer:NVQ Level 2/3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance or similarPreferably served a full apprenticeshipExperienced Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Ex forces will all be considered for this opportunityTechnical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and Hydraulics is required.
