With clients including Strongbow, Starling Bank, Tesco, Google, TUI, BT and many more, we are looking for a Finance Manager to join the agency and help build out our Finance team. We are looking for a part-qualified accountant to solely run the finance function for Purple Goat. This stems from day-to-day operational finance tasks including AR and AP processes to completing the full month end process. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all processes involved in running a finance function for a business, reporting directly into the Operations team. Despite no direct Finance line manager within Purple Goat, support will be provided by the Goat UK Finance Team.Daily responsibilities: Accounts Payable full process – setting up suppliers, creating and sending out purchase orders, receiving invoices, handling supplier queries and running weekly supplier payments.Accounts Receivables – client setup, debtor management (invoicing and chasing, and weekly debtors meeting with COO to provide status updates)Responsibility for production of end-to-end monthly reporting for Purple Goat, including meetings with the Purple Goat team to determine monthly revenue and margin, allocation and calculation of costs, and certain balance sheet reconciliations.Production of monthly accounts with commentary where necessary.Production and communication to the relevant individuals within the business of reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of reporting (including Accrued/Deferred Revenue, Campaign Costs, Intercompany)Supporting the wider Purple Goat team with ad-hoc queries and requests where required.Required experience to apply:Part-Qualified AccountantStrong attention to detailProblem solver with the ability to improve processes/ways of working in a relatively fluid environmentAbility to work independentlyProficient in Microsoft ExcelCulture and Benefits: Work from homeWork from home set up allowancePerformance based rewards - appraisals every 6 months to discuss career progressionCompany and Individual training opportunities to support with your personal developmentCompany laptopWellbeing allowanceWork and Social team events - in-person eventsLoyalty holiday allowance accrual
