Job Title: Fine Dining Waiting StaffLocation: Four rosette, Michelin Star Restaurant based within an award-winning Hall Hotel near PlymptonJob Brief:I am seeking on behalf a well-established client a skilled and passionate individual to join their waiting staff team.As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our discerning guests.This is a full time permanent position offering £12 per hour, plus tips and company benefits. You must have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.To apply please submit your CV to :• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with poise and professionalism.• Present menus and provide detailed explanations of dishes, ingredients, and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring preferences and dietary restrictions are noted.• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to presentation standards. Anticipate guests' needs and accommodate special requests with grace and attentiveness.• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, including wine pairings, and confidently make recommendations.• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.• Assist with setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.• Uphold restaurant policies and standards of service at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.• To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.• To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations• Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy• To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid. Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Candidate must be well-presented and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is an advantage.
