PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To set out and implement the vision and design for the procurement function for the next 5 years. The day-to-day management of a team of Circa 15. To set out and implement procurement sustainability strategy for procurement. To standardise procurement across the business units and areas. Oversight and management of major infrastructure procurement projects (£100 million plus) YOU WILL HAVE:
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across all levels. Team Management experience. Infrastructure / large construction project experience. A senior strategic procurement background where you have designed and implanted. procurement change and improvement programmes. ** This role can be based at a number of sites – however REGULAR TRAVEL to other sites is expected (including the NE and South Coast).
