When required for business need, you may occasionally be required to work at client locations to support the efficient running of our services to our clients.You must have held your NMC registration for more than 24 months and have OH Case Management experience.Your role and responsibilities:To undertake an agreed workload on a day-to-day basis and ensuring efficient time management by supporting the wider teamTo follow Occupational Health policies, standards, procedures and guidelines so that service delivery and practice ensures the provision of an effective service.To be an independent nurse and continue professional development in line with NMC validation.To initially assess and manage medical referrals to facilitate the corporate attendance management procedures.To ensure you have good knowledge of the workplaces and hazards for our clients, as well as a good knowledge of the worker and his/her state of healthTo advise on the fitness of an employee to do their job.To identify and help prevent illness caused by work.To demonstrate confidence in consulting with HR, employees and their representative organisations regarding health, safety and wellbeing issues.To contribute to health promotion and campaigns in relation to Occupational Health issues and attend meetings, consultations and committees as appropriate.Maintain practice standards in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council professional standards and codes of conduct, legislation and best practice, so that the highest standards of professionalism are adhered to.To maintain record systems in accordance with legislation and organisational requirements.Such other responsibilities appropriate to the role and serviceExperience:Currently hold a NMC Pin, or/and a Occupational Health qualificationA successful track record of giving Occupational Health advice, guidance and support to Managers and employees including complex cases.Case Management experience is essentialAdditional informationRegistration renewal fees coveredFree access to library of CPD and updated best practiceLocation: Fully Home BasedHours: Part time and full time candidates are invited to apply.
