We are looking for a Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant, who will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, getting the best from cleaning products and, using equipment (training provided where needed). You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer. To help us build a healthier nation as a Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant at our Cardiff and Vale Hospitals.</p><p> </p><p><strong>As a </strong><strong>Housekeeper / </strong><strong>Domestic Assistant</strong><strong>, you will:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Care about our patients, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients' experience.</p></li><li><p>Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.</p></li><li><p>Motivated, friendly and flexible.</p></li><li><p>Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.</p></li><li><p>Infection prevention and control compliances, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.</p></li><li><p>Need to have a clean driving license and access to own car as you will be required to work at both sites.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Cardiff & Vale Hospitals</strong></p><p> </p><p>Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals provide first class private healthcare to the immediate local areas of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, as well as across South Wales and surrounding regions.
