The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Your future duties and responsibilities:
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will:
- Seamlessly integrate development outputs into release modules.
- Spearhead their progression through relevant stages into operational service.
- Navigate the release-to-service process, including security and accreditation procedures.
- Provide technical insights and expertise on designs, solutions, tools, techniques and standards.
- Provide hands-on development of pragmatic solutions for real-world challenges.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve incidents.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
A proven track record in the following domains:
- Windows and/or Redhat Linux server administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, PowerShel, and Bash.
- Expertise in configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Foreman.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Command over virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenShift.
- Sound grasp of network fundamentals encompassing DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching and Knowledge of Azure and AWS Cloud Technologies.
