A wonderful secondary school located in the Grantham area is eager to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally outgoing Learning Support Assistant to provide vital 1:1 & small group support to children across their KS3 & KS4 department with special educational needs.
In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working Monday to Friday inside of the academic for the remainder of the academic year beginning in January 2024 whilst also having access to multiple online CPD courses on topics such as SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:
Learning Support Assistant Located in Grantham (NG33) Beginning January 2024 – Ending July 2024 but option to go permanent Based in one secondary academy – Monday to Friday role Paid £430 per week term time only Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support inside and out of class Supporting children with complex learning difficulties Tailoring sessions based around Education Health Care Plans
Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology degree Strong academic background Prior experience working with young people Good organisation and communication skills Passionate about the development of children with SEN Patient and understanding of time needed to progress Ability to build rapport with young people *NO UK Visa Sponsorship available with this role*
