As they continue to expanding, they are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Portsmouth area.
Job Description:
As a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client's commercial properties. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and installations across a variety of systems and equipment. Working autonomously, you will manage your workload efficiently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently to minimise downtime. Performing electrical repairs and installations as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders. Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate maintenance projects effectively. Providing technical expertise and guidance to support decision-making and problem-solving. Upholding company standards of professionalism, quality, and customer service at all times. Requirements:
Electrical Qualification - NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a commercial environment. Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and contractors. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to travel to different sites within the Bristol area as required. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications 17th or 18th edition Full UK driving licence. Benefits:
