Mapping and Charting Officer
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Mapping and Charting Officer (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £15.21 per/hr
· Location – DoF, LPS Topographical Survey – LPIS
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
Staff within the Editing team are responsible for the editing and maintenance of the DAERA LPIS fields and features within a bespoke GIS application; ensuring edits are in line with the DAERA Protocol for the claim year.
Essential Qualifications
· A BTEC National Certificate or equivalent qualification, or higher, in an appropriate subject, such as Civil Engineering Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Physical Sciences, Engineering.
OR
· A BTEC Higher National Certificate or equivalent in an appropriate subject, such as Civil Engineering Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Physical Sciences, Engineering
Essential Experience
· Experience editing a GIS system.
