We are working with an independent small animal practice in Seaham on the Durham coast who are currently recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.
This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts from 8:30am to 6:30pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am to 12pm. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
About the role:
The roles offer the veterinary surgeons the opportunity to develop their clinical skills and knowledge whilst working for an independent practice. They offer the opportunity for the surgeons to work through their own case load from start to finish thus establishing good working relationships with the clients.
The practice offers plenty of ongoing support for certificates and provides state of the art facilities in a modern working environment.
The most suitable candidate will be confident in their ability but looking to progress into laparoscopic surgery.
The team consists of vets and RVNs of varying levels of experience

The ideally candidate for these roles will have good experience working in a similar role within a UK practice. You will need to have good surgical and consulting knowledge, as well as having excellent customer service and client care skills.
Package:
