Reporting to the Delivery Manager you will have responsibility for the delivery of major supply and wastewater major projects of value in excess of £30m, With a number of direct reports this role will require the management of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team including design consultant, internal civils and M+E resource as well as external supply chain and stakeholders.
As a Project Manager, you will not only be managing the delivery of projects to achieve the required outputs for safety and the environment, time, quality and cost but you’ll be doing this while attaining the high standards of work they are renowned for.
Key to the success will be the emphasis on digital delivery to BIM Level 2. The company has already invested in new technology and innovation and you will continue to promote this approach as well as bringing new ideas to assist with project delivery.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance - with safety and quality procedures; with company legal, contractual and governance obligations and with budgetary boundaries.
As part of this role you’ll undertake the legally defined role of Principal Designer within H&S CDM legislation. As the face of projects, you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders including residents, customers, contractors and the general public and you will be expected to act as an ambassador for the organisation at all times.
