We are currently seeking an Project Manager, to join out Operational Improvement team. This role will require national travel.
Within this role, you will be highly driven to support and challenge the business regions in the deliverance of the GB Materials Strategy Map. With technical knowledge, you will proactively provide support cross-region, ensuring collaboration and sharing best practice and specific business studies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in business in a wide range programs to ensure equipment and structures are specified to meet the highest engineering and safety standards within agreed budgets and performance criteria.Support line management in technical expertise along with support in monitoring and inspection to meet requirements of the company structural management standard.Lead and/or oversee project management for major projects.Provide training and guidance for managers in the principles of project management.Provide assistance to ensure compliance with construction design management regulations for small/medium/large projects in infrastructure, plant & equipment or complex capex installations.Assist line management in planning and coordinating major shutdowns and outages.Lead and contribute to root cause failure analysis in mechanical and electrical equipment.
