Our client is looking for a strong, highly motivated leader who has the ability to manage a single large industrial project up to £10 Million based outside Ipswich.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Industrial project experience to join an ambitious and well established (20 + Years )UK Nationwide Industrial Main Contractor.
Reporting into the Group Construction Director you will take full responsibility for this project – Full P+L.
The right person will understand team spirit and have the ability to get the most out everyone them. This business prides itself with working closely with sub-contractors and the supply chain to ensure there is a win win for all parties. Collaboration & communication being at the core of this business and how they operate.
You will have the know how to add value through out the life cycle from tender award to final account. You will have the knowledge and previous experience to see issues before they occur. Be that driving design , progress or quality of workmanship from the supply chain.
Career progression up to a director position could certainly be achieved for the right character that is open to travel , can deliver under pressure and can produce strong relationships and create repeat clients.
Travel is a must and you may be required to stay away depending on the project location . All expenses are covered by our client be that lodge, travel, overnight allowance on top of a healthy basic salary and project bonus.
The correct individual would have a passion for construction, with a can-do attitude.
Experience Required:
Lead an Industrial project in excess of £10 million as a No1 from start to finish Strong communication skills CSCS SMSTS First Aid Clear experience for an Industrial Contractor handling relevant projects Major duties and responsibilities:
Procurement & Supply Chain Planning and successfully delivering industrial projects Maintaining strict quality control procedures Programming – You will be able to write your own program Strong IT & Computer skills from Word , Excel & Email Site management while supervising and coordinating staff, sub-contractors, plant, materials and management information Reporting on financial and operational progress
