We're on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned Regional HR Manager to join our client's team and lead HR operations across multiple branches. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring effective management of HR matters and fostering a culture of success.
About the Role:
As our Regional HR Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for Branch Managers and employees within the region, offering expert advice on all HR-related issues. Your role will involve empowering Branch Managers, facilitating informed decision-making, and nurturing a culture of engagement and high performance. You'll be responsible for handling intricate Employee Relations cases, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function, and overseeing various projects throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive HR support to Branch Managers and employees, offering solutions to challenges and addressing queries effectively. Champion the UK HR People Strategy and spearhead initiatives to drive positive change. Lead the implementation and action plans resulting from the annual company Engagement Survey within your region. Handle Employee Relations matters such as unauthorized absence, disciplinary actions, grievances, and sickness absence. Take charge of HR aspects during business restructure projects, including site acquisitions, TUPE transfers, and redundancies. Collaborate with managers on recruitment planning, talent development, and succession planning. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while staying abreast of relevant UK Employment Law updates.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comprehensive HR generalist role. Proficiency in navigating shift-based working patterns within a multi-site setting. In-depth understanding of UK Employment Law with a track record of managing complex HR cases. Proven expertise in executing business restructure projects, redundancy programs, and TUPE transfers. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. CIPD qualification or equivalent practical HR experience.
