Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton on Trent
Salary: Up to £29,712 per annum
We are looking to hire an experienced Residential Support Worker. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an Ofsted registered children’s home and ideally hold or be enrolled on a NVQ Level 3 in residential childcare.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide comprehensive and child-centric care to the children in residence
- Support in the creation and implementation of personal care plans
- Encourage and assist children in engaging in constructive activities
- Act as a role model to motivate and inspire children to achieve their potential
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment

Residential Support Worker Requirements
• Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards this
• Some relevant experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
