Home Name: Leawood
Hours: 40.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern : 2 shifts on, 4 shifts off (Shifts start at 8am and finish at 11pm, this is followed by a sleep in)
Salary: £24,850 - £28,475 depending on experience and qualifications (
Sleep Ins: £3625 per annum (based on 7 sleep ins per month
Location Bonus : £1095 per annum
Earnings: £29,570 - £33,195

We are seeking to appoint a Residential Support Worker for our therapeutic children’s home in Endmoor, Kendal . This is a great opportunity for someone to join a highly established and successful children’s home, learning from experienced, skilled team of likeminded individuals who share a passion for giving the child in care the very best support.
As a residential support worker, you will nurture and support the children and young people in your care, with all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. No two days are the same working in Residential Care for Children. If you enjoy working with children and possess the resilience to work with challenging behaviours having a nurturing and supportive approach to your practice, we want to hear from you! Full induction, training and support is provided by our in-house award-winning learning and development team, including the QCF level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the young people feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be inducted by our industry leading, award winning learning & development team, and guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.
As a Residential Support Worker you will have the following:
The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care Lead, demonstrate, and share best practice to other practitioners in your home. In addition to working closely alongside Psychologists and our specialist therapeutic services team.
