As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of individual students with SEN.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualised learning plans. Provide one-to-one support to students with specific needs. Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues and professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of each student. Support students with daily activities and learning tasks. Work closely with specialist teachers and education teams to ensure consistent support. Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN or in a care setting supporting children - desirable. Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and resilience in handling challenging situations. Proactive and adaptable approach to meeting diverse learning needs.
