Job Duties:
Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in educational settings Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students Support students in activities and ensure their safety and well-being Help students develop their social and communication skills Record and report on student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with children with SEND Knowledge of SEN, LSA, EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role Experience in supporting students with SEND
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and how to adapt teaching methods Knowledge of behaviour management techniques Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in safeguarding and child protection
