This London based consultancy works with residential developers and housing associations on major new build projects, and are looking to take on an Employer’s Agent with a background in quantity surveying or building surveying, at either intermediate or senior level.
Working alongside an experienced Director, you will fulfil the role of EA, QS and Project Manager to the end client, taking projects from inception to completion.
Key duties will include:
Creating & administering a range of JCT contracts. Chairing & minuting regular site meetings. Analysis of progress and writing detailed reports. Advising on a range of planning, legal and contractual issues. Conducting interim valuations and cost appraisals. Analysing key contract documents whilst highlighting any potential risks. Candidates for this role will have previous consultancy experience in the residential sector with a background in quantity surveying or building surveying. They will ideally be MRICS or working towards completing the APC. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
