Senior Orthopaedic Fellow - Specialist in Hip and Knee
Employer: The Princess Grace Hospital, part of the private healthcare group, HCA Healthcare. Location: Central London Salary & Rewards: Competitive base salary, additional funding for PhD, suitable candidates with a strong academic track record. Contract Type: Initially 12 months, but can be extended if the successful applicant wishes to complete a higher degree. This is an excellent opportunity for Senior Fellow / Post CCT trainees to undertake research and clinical work under the primary supervision of Professor Fares Haddad.
The main focus of the role will primarily be in lower limb arthroplasty (including robotic surgery) and sports surgery. There will be access to a weekly operating list at UCLH with exposure to both simple and complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty cases in a busy unit. Working alongside a dedicated research team and playing an integral role in service delivery, the successful candidates will enjoy a multitude of opportunities and be expected to produce high quality research for peer reviewed publication and national/international presentations.
