Job description
The role of the Service Developer is to proactively work with the business Senior Management Team and wider team members to identify, develop and deliver sustainable working and reporting procedures across England Field Delivery (EFD).�
You will also be responsible for supporting governance processes and managing and delivering the agreed process changes into business-as-usual activities.�
You will be responsible for identifying and managing the impacts of wider changes being delivered across England Field Delivery teams.�
The Service Developer role will provide a bridge between project delivery and the business.�
The key focus of this role is to provide an overview of operational delivery activities within England Field and ensure processes and governance are in place to support an �end to end� delivery approach, accountability, and engagement with the wider team.�
Candidates need to hold qualifications in Project Management or Lean Practitioner, or have demonstrable skills in these areas.
Responsibilities for the role will include but not be limited to:�
Ensuring governance and controls are in place that drive engagement, meaningful communications, accurate and regular Management Information reporting and focussed forward planning across England Field Delivery (EFD).�Working with the Field Service Manager and the wider England Senior Leadership team, the post holder will provide national oversight of delivery activities and associated risk to ensure that there is a forward delivery plan, and that work is tracked, monitored and reported upon against this plan.�Supporting the development of engagement and communications plans to ensure that appropriate messages are delivered and that the wider teams feel fully informed of priorities, plans, changes, and news.�Responsible for managing initiatives throughout EFD utilising continuous improvement and lean working practices. The post holder will apply governance to processes and ensure work is tracked to indicate when they are completed by other members of EFD.�Lead on Business Service Development Activity across EFD and work with senior leaders to support delivery and implementation of the agreed outcomes and new ways of working.�Develop planning that drives engagement with key stakeholders across the wider management and field delivery teams ensuring products are fit for purpose and the rationale and benefits clearly communicated.�Ensure that processes are in place that ensure Operations Manual, Pathways and other areas where resource is required has governance in place that ensure accountability and timeliness is clear within the EFD.�Provide content for communications relating to EFD Development across your area of responsibility.�This role will require travel to other office locations.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:��
Excellent planning and organisational skills.�Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal and presentation skills to enable effective interaction with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.�Good negotiating, influencing, coaching, and networking skills.�Experience in use of MS Office systems.�Use of change, continuous improvement and project management tools and techniques. Has demonstrable experience of working in a Business Change role.Demonstrate strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies and associated experience of having used this expertise across a range of projects to deliver agreed outcomes within time and cost/ quality constraints.Work flexibly and sometimes under pressure to deliver a range of different areas of work simultaneously to required standards and timescales.Support colleagues in setting up and maintaining good governance and working level groups.Be composed and recover quickly from setbacks and be able to use a measured and considered approach to diffusing problem situations, making effective decisions, and taking a lead role to drive the project forward.Be able to understand how the phases of a project can lead to effective change and appreciate the �bigger picture� organisational drivers behind them.Be accustomed to working in an environment of ambiguity and change, and you will be practiced in keeping abreast of developments in the business.�Learning and Development
