A minimum of 5 years of experience with a mix of home country and international experience in humanitarian responses within complex, fragile and conflict related contexts
Two years of international experience outside of your home country/local assignment
Demonstrated understanding of humanitarian principles, standards and best practices
Experience working in high pressure, rapid response environments with multiple risk factors
Strong communication skills in English (oral and written) with ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders
Emotional intelligence (self-awareness, managing emotions and those of others, remaining calm/composed, dealing with ambiguity and change)
Ability to work with a reasonable level of comfort in high tension and high security risk situations.

Response Director
We’re looking for senior, experienced humanitarian leaders who will use their strong track record in complex crises and fragile contexts and excellent team leadership skillsto lead a response from strategy to implementation.
As a Response Director, you will lead World Vision’s multi-country humanitarian response during a crisis, ensuring effective scale up and delivery of humanitarian assistance to affected vulnerable people and other countries as required.
You will oversee all aspects of the response from strategy to implementation including team management, partner relations, risk management and relations with a wider range of local and international stakeholders for this large scale response in a complex, fluid and challenging humanitarian context with a high level of global interest and engagement.
Requirements:
You have a minimum of 15 years in leadership roles in the humanitarian assistance and development sector, with a significant portion of this in INGOs.
At least 10 years’ senior management experience in humanitarian responses within complex, fragile and conflict related contexts.
University degree in humanitarian, development, international relations or relevant field. Master’s degree preferred
Excellent communications and relationship management skills
Demonstrated understanding of humanitarian principles, standards and best practices.
Experience in leading a multi-cultural team of professionals
Experience working in high pressure, rapid response environments with multiple risks
External engagement at senior level with governments and multilateral agencies
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Advisor
As a MHPSS Advisor, you will provide Mental Health and Psychosocial Support technical guidance for programming, clinical supervision, and capacity building of staff, implementing partners and guiding mental health and psychosocial support interventions. You will ensure effective implementation and monitoring of psychological intervention of mental health and psychosocial support, in relation to all tasks related to support of field and office operations.
Requirements:
Mental Health professional with a Degree in Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related field in Mental Health. Clinical experience at community level, either in a research or clinical capacity A minimum of 3 years working experience in mental health and psychosocial support in humanitarian settings and one of which has to be at a supervisory level. Experience providing clinical supervision in individual and group settings and setting up supervisory models for large-scale MHPSS programs. Experience working with MHPSS Implementing partner’s in humanitarian settings. Experience conducting MHPSS-related trainings and development of training materials. Strong organisational and supervisory skills and strong g interpersonal skills and the ability to work within different cultural environments Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources Ability to work under pressure and deliver in a fast paced environment
Cash and Voucher Programming Advisor
The Cash and Voucher Assistance Technical Specialist will provide technical leadership on need/gap analysis, cash feasibility analysis (market assessment, FSPs assessment, Risk assessment, etc), program design, Implementation, monitoring and learning interventions as well as coordination and engagements representing World Vision Field Office. She/he will support the integration of cash programming into different sectors and multipurpose objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in the fields of: Social Science, Economics, Statistics or related field. A postgraduate training in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Agriculture or related field will be an added advantage. Have at least 7 years’ experience in Humanitarian sector, 3 years of which at management level of Cash and Voucher Assistance programing. Experience in engaging with donors, private sector players, government agencies, INGOs among others Experience in setting up functioning monitoring and accountability systems Experience in coordinating multi-agency programs and consortium/network development Project planning and project team leadership Understanding of program design process, and monitoring/evaluation frameworks Management of complex government/institutionally funded programs/projects
